Best metal sheds: our picks for compact and larger storage

Two metal sheds we recommend for different storage jobs.

Choose the Asgard Flexistore 1511 for a compact tool store with its floor included. Choose the Trimetals Titan 950 when a longer interior and double-door access matter more. Those are our two starting picks for different jobs; the larger Titan earns its place on layout, not a claim to be the cheapest.

Best compact metal shed · Researched pick

Asgard Flexistore 1511

Why we pick it: An integral metal floor and three-point locking keep the core storage package straightforward. This is the model we would start with for a small equipment store.

Before you order: A wooden subfloor and accessories cost extra; the metal floor does not replace a suitable foundation.

Size
Marketed as 5×4ft; confirm clear doorway and footprint from the manufacturer’s drawing.

Best for a longer storage layout · Researched pick

Trimetals Titan 950

Why we pick it: Its 2.625m-long interior and double doors suit a layout of shelving along one side with an access aisle.

Before you order: Wooden flooring is optional. Include it in the quote if that is the finish you want.

Size
Internal length × width 2.625 × 1.540m; maximum internal height 2.100m.

Our buying advice

Choose the Flexistore if the contents fit a compact store. Pay for the Titan’s extra length only when your layout uses it. In either case, leave enough room to open the doors fully and move the largest item through them.

Get the foundation right

A floor and a foundation are separate purchases. Ask for the base drawing and anchoring requirements with the quote, then price that work before ordering. Our base guide explains the difference.

For the Titan range, use the specification for the exact size. The published Titan 960 doorway measurements conflict, so we have chosen the 950 here and would ask Trimetals to clarify before recommending the 960 for a tight opening.
